Coping and Caregiving through Aging and Illness

As loved ones age or become ill, people taking on the role of family caregiver often struggle with ‘what to do’ and ‘how to help.’ We find that caregivers are better able to cope, and are more apt to act when they understand the issues with which they are dealing. Our resources and programs offer both practical and spiritual guidance on caring for aging or ill family members.

"Your book was literally dropped in my lap when I went to our pastor searching for resources regarding an immediate need we are facing with my mother-in-law. I thought with my healthcare background I was prepared to work through the decisions that we face now. HA! I am so thankful for your book because it answers all my questions, and then some I never thought of. I am not by nature an outspoken person, but I feel now that I have the tools to be bold on behalf of my mother-in-law and her best interests. What a tremendous ministry you have! Thank you!"

Equipping Families and Churches To Address Health-Related Concerns

When the unexpected happens and a crisis occurs, families are forced to make quick decisions. Our resources and programs are sure to help families address their current challenges and prepare them for the days, months and years ahead.

"A legitimate desire to be relevant in order to reach people has become a double-edged sword. Because of the high speed, youth-obsessed culture of the western world, a simple theological and practical approach to caring for the elderly has been low on our priority scale.

Charles has presented a clear Biblical response to this issue. Since God shows no partiality, then this is a long overdue book (Care for One Another - available 2/08) in our society. How important it is to equip, encourage and enable people to care for a generation whose voice is often lost in the noise. But above all, this is a book about compassion. And love never fails."

"Blessed are the Caregivers"

God never promised days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain, but He did promise strength to get through each day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. Whether the years have finally caught up with your aging family member or your loved one is afflicted by illness or disease, it can be a trying time for the entire family. Don’t make the mistake of trying to figure everything out on your own. We can help!
